Iowa High School Softball - Des Moines Christian bounces Woodward-Granger

In Thursday's league match, the visiting Des Moines Christian Lions softball team scored a tight 10-6 victory over the Woodward-Granger Hawks.

The Lions (7-11) will now prepare for their match against West Central Valley (Stuart, IA). The Wildcats go into the West Central match with a 12-10 record. In their last match, West Central Valley was routed by Earlham (Earlham, IA), 14-11, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Hawks battle the Colfax-Mingo Tigerhawks (Colfax, IA) in a non-league match, on Monday, July 8. Woodward-Granger will attempt to better on its 10-12 season record. The Tigerhawks go into the match with a 2-18 record after their 18-7 league loss to B-G-M (Brooklyn, IA).
