In Friday's league game, the host Belle Plaine Plainsmen baseball team scored a nice 10-0 victory over the Colfax-Mingo Tigerhawks.

The Plainsmen (7-9) will now prepare for their game against Montezuma (Montezuma, IA). The Braves enter the South Iowa Cedar game with a 5-11 record. In their last game, Montezuma was overwhelmed by Lynnville-Sully (Sully, IA), 10-8, in a league game.

Next, the Tigerhawks face the English Valleys Bears (North English, IA) in a South Iowa Cedar game, on Monday, June 30. Colfax-Mingo will attempt to improve on its 1-14 season record. The Bears enter the game with a 0-15 record after their 11-10 league loss to H-L-V (Victor, IA).
