The Denison-Schleswig Monarchs (Denison, IA) baseball the host Fairfield Trojans (Fairfield, IA), 10-6 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Monarchs now own a 11-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Shenandoah for a Hawkeye 10 challenge on Monday, June 30. Denison-Schleswig will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 8-0 league loss to Creston (Creston, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-13.
With the defeat, Fairfield drops to 17-6 on the year. The Trojans host Keokuk (Keokuk, IA) to clash with the Chiefs in a Southeast outing on Monday, June 30. The Chiefs come into the outing with a record of 1-14. Keokuk lost 14-4 in their recent league outing against Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, IA)
