In Friday's league match, the visiting North Tama Redhawks softball team scored a tight 10-6 win over the Colo-NESCO Royals.

The Redhawks (4-11) will now prepare for their match against BCLUW (Conrad, IA). The Comets come into the Iowa Star - South match with a 17-5 record. In their last match, BCLUW was routed by Pella (Pella, IA), 12-0, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Royals confront the WACO Warriors (Wayland, IA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, June 28. Colo-NESCO will attempt to better on its 4-18 season record. The Warriors come into the match with a 0-13 record after their 12-0 non-league loss to Pekin (Packwood, IA).
