In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Iowa City Little Hawks (Iowa City, IA) softball team overwhelmed the host Cedar Falls Tigers (Cedar Falls, IA), by a margin of 11-3.
The Little Hawks now own a 7-20 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clear Creek-Amana for a non-league challenge on Friday, June 30. Iowa City will face a Clippers squad coming off a 12-11 non-league loss to Solon (Solon, IA). The Clippers record now stands at 17-15.
In their next game, the Tigers play the Wahlert Golden Eagles (Dubuque, IA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, June 29. Cedar Falls will attempt to move on its 13-21 season record.
