The Western Christian Wolfpack softball squad scored 18 runs and held the visiting Cherokee Washington Braves to 8 in the Wolfpack non-league win on Wednesday.
The Wolfpack now sport a 10-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn for a non-league match on Wednesday, July 5. Western Christian will face a Hawks squad coming off a 11-3 non-league loss to Trinity Christian (Hull, IA). The Hawks record now stands at 12-14.
With the loss, Cherokee Washington falls to 2-19 on the year. The Braves travel to South O'Brien (Paullina, IA) to play the Wolverines in a non-league contest on Thursday, June 29. The Wolverines come into the contest with a record of 9-14.
