The crowd at Wednesday's non-league match between the Independence Mustangs (Independence, IA) and the visiting South Tama County Trojans (Tama, IA), saw Independence's softball squad achieve victory over South Tama County by a count of 15-0.

The Mustangs now sport a 15-20 record. They take the field next when they host Prairie for a non-league match on Monday, July 3.

With the loss, South Tama County falls to 0-28 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Nevada (Nevada, IA) to face the Cubs in a non-league match on Thursday, June 29. The Cubs enter the match with a record of 4-23. Nevada lost 11-4 in their recent league match against Perry (Perry, IA)
