The West Lyon Wildcats baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host Sioux Center Warriors to 1 in the Wildcats non-league win on Friday.
The Wildcats now own a 16-2 record. They take the field next when they host Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley for a Siouxland test on Saturday, June 29.
With the defeat, Sioux Center drops to 12-7 on the year. The Warriors travel to Sibley-Ocheyedan (Sibley, IA) to clash with the Generals in a non-league test on Monday, July 1. The Generals go into the test with a record of 2-12.
