In Saturday's non-league match, the host Southeast Valley Jaguars softball team scored a tight 7-2 victory over the Iowa Falls-Alden Cadets.

The Jaguars (12-8) will now prepare for their match against Pocahontas (Pocahontas, IA). The Indians go into the Twin Lakes match with a 18-6 record. In their last match, Pocahontas was routed by North Union (Armstrong, IA), 4-3, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Cadets battle the Clear Lake Lions (Clear Lake, IA) in a North Central match, on Monday, June 30. Iowa Falls-Alden will attempt to better on its 8-9 season record. The Lions go into the match with a 14-7 record after their 8-0 league loss to St. Edmond (Fort Dodge, IA).
