Iowa High School Softball - Stanton bounces Red Oak

In Saturday's non-league match, the host Stanton Vikings softball team scored a tight 9-5 victory over the Red Oak Tigers.
The Vikings (8-12) will now prepare for their match against Sidney (Sidney, IA). The Cowboys go into the Corner match with a 3-12 record. In their last match, Sidney was routed by Stanton (Stanton, IA), 18-8, in a league match.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Harlan Cyclones (Harlan, IA) in a Hawkeye 10 match, on Monday, June 30. Red Oak will attempt to better on its 3-21 season record. The Cyclones go into the match with a 4-19 record after their 17-4 non-league win over Carroll (Carroll, IA).
