The Alburnett Pirates routed the host Midland Eagles softball squad by a final score of 18-0 in Thursday's non-league battle.

The Pirates (24-10) will now prepare for their battle against Wilton (Wilton, IA). The Beavers go into the non-league battle with a 27-8 record. In their last battle, Wilton notched a victory over West Branch (West Branch, IA), 11-2, in a non-league battle.

The Eagles now possess a 1-32 record. They play next when they travel to Maquoketa Valley for a non-league battle on Friday, June 30. Midland will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Lisbon (Lisbon, IA). The Wildcats record now stands at 14-15.
