In Thursday's non-league contest, the Knoxville Panthers (Knoxville, IA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Clarke Indians (Osceola, IA), by a margin of 11-4.

With the triumph, Knoxville moves its record to 14-12 on the year. The Panthers travel to Chariton (Chariton, IA) to play the Chargers in a non-league contest on Friday, June 30. The Chargers come into the contest with a record of 18-5. Chariton won 3-1 in their recent non-league contest against Albia (Albia, IA)

In their next game, the Indians play the Valley Tigers (Elgin, IA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, July 3. Clarke will attempt to move on its 7-18 season record.
