Norwalk Warriors (Norwalk, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Pella Dutch (Pella, IA), 9-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 25-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Polk for a non-league challenge on Friday, June 30. Norwalk will battle a Comets squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Boone (Boone, IA). The Comets record now stands at 26-3.

With the loss, Pella falls to 13-18 on the campaign. The Dutch travel to Perry (Perry, IA) to battle the Bluejays in a non-league challenge on Monday, July 3. The Bluejays enter the challenge with a record of 9-12. Perry won 11-4 in their recent league challenge against Nevada (Nevada, IA)
