The Western Dubuque Bobcats softball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Waterloo West Wahawks to 4 in the Bobcats non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Western Dubuque improves its record to 11-5 on the year. The Bobcats travel to Bettendorf (Bettendorf, IA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Wednesday, July 5. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 21-9.

In their next game, the Wahawks clash with the Dubuque Senior Rams (Dubuque, IA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, July 1. Waterloo West will attempt to improve on its 13-19 season record. The Rams come into the game with a 24-14 record after their 7-1 non-league win over Davenport Central (Davenport, IA).
