The Carlisle Wildcats softball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Creston Panthers to 0 in the Wildcats non-league win on Saturday.

The Wildcats now sport a 25-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Boone for a Raccoon River battle on Monday, July 1.

With the loss, Creston moves to 14-13 on the season. The Panthers travel to Clarinda (Clarinda, IA) to confront the Cardinals in a Hawkeye 10 battle on Monday, July 1. The Cardinals come into the battle with a record of 29-6. Clarinda won 8-1 in their recent non-league battle against Harlan (Harlan, IA)
