South Burlington Wolves (South Burlington, VT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Colchester Lakers (Colchester, VT), 4-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Wolves now own a 14-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Johnsbury Academy for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, June 7. South Burlington will clash with a Hilltoppers team coming off a 6-4 non-league win over Missisquoi Valley (Swanton, VT). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 13-5.
