Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Mt. Hope Huskies (Bristol, RI) and the visiting Narragansett Mariners (Narragansett, RI), witnessed Mt. Hope's softball squad tip Narragansett by a count of 5-2.

The Huskies now sport a 18-3 record. They play next when they travel to Toll Gate for a non-league match on Monday, June 6. Mt. Hope will meet a Titans squad coming off a 9-7 non-league win over Lincoln (Lincoln, RI). The Titans record now stands at 17-4.

With the loss, Narragansett moves to 10-12 on the season. The Mariners travel to Lincoln (Lincoln, RI) to meet the Lions in a non-league match on Saturday, June 4. The Lions go into the match with a record of 10-11. Lincoln lost 9-7 in their recent non-league match against Toll Gate (Warwick, RI)
