The Red River Roughriders (Grand Forks, ND) softball nipped the visiting Sheyenne Mustangs (West Fargo, ND), 2-1 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Roughriders (6-6) will now prepare for their bout against West Fargo (West Fargo, ND). The Packers go into the non-league bout with a 4-2 record. In their last bout, West Fargo held off Valley City (Valley City, ND), 12-5, in a non-league bout.
The Mustangs now possess a 3-2 record.
