Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Tri-Center Trojans (Neola, IA) and the visiting Underwood Eagles (Underwood, IA), witnessed Tri-Center's softball squad tip Underwood by a count of 12-11.

The Trojans now sport a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Missouri Valley for a non-league match on Tuesday, June 7. Tri-Center will meet a Big Reds squad coming off a 4-0 non-league win over AHSTW (Avoca, IA). The Big Reds record now stands at 6-3.

With the loss, Underwood moves to 1-7 on the season. The Eagles host Riverside (Oakland, IA) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Monday, June 6. The Bulldogs go into the match with a record of 0-7. Riverside lost 9-8 in their recent non-league match against Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, IA)
