The crowd at Monday's league match between the South O'Brien Wolverines (Paullina, IA) and the host West Sioux Falcons (Hawarden, IA), saw South O'Brien's softball squad nip West Sioux by a count of 10-5.

The Wolverines now sport a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ridge View for a non-league match on Tuesday, June 4. South O'Brien will face a Raptors squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to West Monona (Onawa, IA). The Raptors record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, West Sioux falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Harris-Lake Park (Lake Park, IA) to clash with the Wolves in a non-league test on Wednesday, June 5. The Wolves come into the test with a record of 1-8. Harris-Lake Park lost 7-0 in their recent league test against St. Mary's (Remsen, IA)
