Naugatuck Greyhounds (Naugatuck, CT) fans left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Darien Blue Wave (Darien, CT), 6-2 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Naugatuck advances its record to 17-7 on the season. The Greyhounds travel to South Windsor (South Windsor, CT) to battle the Bobcats in a non-league match on Saturday, June 7. The Bobcats come into the match with a record of 19-5. South Windsor won 3-2 in their recent non-league match against Fairfield Prep (Fairfield, CT)
The Blue Wave now have a 13-10 record.
