The Katahdin Cougars triumphed over the visiting Hodgdon Hawks softball squad by a count of 11-1 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Cougars play the Fort Fairfield Tigers (Fort Fairfield, ME) in a Class D North challenge, on Wednesday, June 4. Katahdin will attempt to upgrade on its 13-0 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 0-13 record after their 14-4 league loss to Central Aroostook (Mars Hill, ME).

The Hawks (3-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Madawaska (Madawaska, ME). The Owls enter the Class D North challenge with a 1-10 record. In their last challenge, Madawaska was routed by Ashland (Ashland, ME), 17-11, in a league challenge.
