The Gilbert Tigers baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Nevada Cubs to 4 in the Tigers non-league victory on Friday.
The Tigers (15-12) will now prepare for their match against Marshalltown (Marshalltown, IA). The Bobcats go into the non-league match with a 7-27 record. In their last match, Marshalltown was overwhelmed by Waterloo East (Waterloo, IA), 14-4, in a non-league match.
The Cubs (9-13) will now prepare for their match against Boone (Boone, IA). The Toreadors go into the non-league match with a 14-15 record. In their last match, Boone was overwhelmed by Carlisle (Carlisle, IA), 4-1, in a non-league match.
