The Knoxville Panthers triumphed over the host Albia Blue Demons baseball squad by a score of 11-4 in Monday's league outing.
Next up, the Panthers battle the Clarke Indians (Osceola, IA) in a South Central outing, on Tuesday, July 1. Knoxville will attempt to advance on its 18-10 season record. The Indians come into the outing with a 9-18 record after their 4-1 league loss to Cardinal (Eldon, IA).
The Blue Demons (11-13) will now prepare for their battle against Chariton (Chariton, IA). The Chargers enter the South Central battle with a 21-5 record. In their last battle, Chariton held off Davis County (Bloomfield, IA), 5-0, in a league battle.
