The Central Lee Hawks baseball team scored 11 runs and held the host Notre Dame Nikes to 8 in the Hawks league win on Monday.

The Hawks now own a 16-3 record. They take the field next when they host Danville for a SE IA Super - South test on Tuesday, July 1. Central Lee will clash with a Bears team coming off a 8-3 league loss to Van Buren County (Keosauqua, IA). The Bears record now stands at 2-16.

With the defeat, Notre Dame drops to 10-9 on the year. The Nikes host Louisa-Muscatine (Letts, IA) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league test on Monday, June 30. The Falcons go into the test with a record of 6-15. Louisa-Muscatine lost 9-4 in their recent league test against Highland (Riverside, IA)
