The Humboldt Wildcats (Humboldt, IA) baseball trounced the visiting Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS (Clarion, IA), 11-1 in Monday's league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 20-6 record. They take the field next when they host Estherville Lincoln Central for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, July 1. Humboldt will clash with a Midgets team coming off a 8-1 non-league loss to Newman Catholic (Mason City, IA). The Midgets record now stands at 15-8.
The (8-17) will now prepare for their outing against Garner-Hayfield/Ventura (Garner, IA). The Cardinals come into the non-league outing with a 11-7 record. In their last outing, Garner-Hayfield/Ventura was overwhelmed by Eagle Grove (Eagle Grove, IA), 3-2, in a league outing.
