The Lions now own a 13-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Decorah-North Winneshiek for a non-league challenge on Thursday, July 3. Clear Lake will clash with a Vikings team coming off a 6-4 league win over Waverly-Shell Rock (Waverly, IA). The Vikings record now stands at 21-5.
With the defeat, Iowa Falls-Alden drops to 11-10 on the year. The Cadets host South Hamilton (Jewell, IA) to clash with the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, July 1. The Hawks go into the challenge with a record of 3-11.
