Shenandoah Mustangs (Shenandoah, IA) fans left the game pleased Monday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Denison-Schleswig Monarchs (Denison, IA), 9-5 in a league match.

With the triumph, Shenandoah advances its record to 8-15 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Harlan (Harlan, IA) to battle the Cyclones in a Hawkeye 10 match on Tuesday, July 1. The Cyclones come into the match with a record of 18-8. Harlan lost 8-4 in their recent non-league match against Jefferson (Council Bluffs, IA)

The Monarchs now have a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kuemper for a Hawkeye 10 match on Thursday, July 3.
