Iowa High School Baseball - Pleasantville edges Interstate 35

In Monday's league game, the visiting Pleasantville Trojans baseball team scored a close 5-2 win over the Interstate 35 Roadrunners.
The Trojans (23-1) will now prepare for their game against Madrid (Madrid, IA). The Tigers go into the West Central game with a 6-13 record. In their last game, Madrid by Estherville Lincoln Central (Estherville, IA), 8-5, in a non-league game.
Next, the Roadrunners play the Panorama Panthers (Panora, IA) in a West Central game, on Tuesday, July 1. Interstate 35 will attempt to improve on its 13-5 season record. The Panthers go into the game with a 4-14 record after their 6-4 league loss to Ogden (Ogden, IA).
