The crowd at Monday's league battle between the Sioux Center Warriors (Sioux Center, IA) and the host Sibley-Ocheyedan Generals (Sibley, IA), saw Sioux Center's baseball team beat Sibley-Ocheyedan by a margin of 17-4.
The Warriors (16-5) will now prepare for their battle against Unity Christian (Orange City, IA). The Knights enter the Siouxland battle with a 20-9 record. In their last battle, Unity Christian defeated Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley (Rock Valley, IA), 6-2, in a league battle.
Next, the Generals face the Harris-Lake Park Wolves (Lake Park, IA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, July 1. Sibley-Ocheyedan will attempt to improve on its 1-15 season record. The Wolves enter the battle with a 7-10 record after their 8-2 league win over Trinity Christian (Hull, IA).
