The crowd at Monday's league bout between the South Winneshiek Warriors (Calmar, IA) and the visiting Clayton-Ridge Eagles (Guttenburg, IA), observed South Winneshiek's softball team prevail over Clayton-Ridge by a tally of 10-2.
The Warriors (17-17) will now prepare for their bout against Clayton-Ridge (Guttenburg, IA). The Eagles go into the Upper Iowa bout with a 4-6 record. In their last bout, Clayton-Ridge knocked off Turkey Valley (Jackson Junction, IA), 6-3, in a league bout.
