The Iowa Valley Tigers overwhelmed the host Keota Eagles softball squad by a count of 9-1 in Monday's league challenge.

Next, the Tigers meet the Springville Orioles (Springville, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, July 1. Iowa Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 9-11 season record. The Orioles go into the challenge with a 13-14 record after their 14-6 non-league win over West Central (Maynard, IA).

The Eagles (9-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Colfax-Mingo (Colfax, IA). The Tigerhawks go into the South Iowa Cedar challenge with a 4-14 record. In their last challenge, Colfax-Mingo was routed by BCLUW (Conrad, IA), 6-2, in a non-league challenge.
