Iowa High School Softball - Nodaway Valley bested by Martensdale-St. Mary's

The Martensdale-St. Mary's Blue Devils triumphed over the visiting Nodaway Valley Wolverines softball squad by a count of 11-1 in Monday's league challenge.

Next, the Blue Devils meet the Central Decatur Cardinals (Leon, IA) in a Pride of Iowa challenge, on Tuesday, July 1. Martensdale-St. Mary's will attempt to upgrade on its 13-8 season record. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a 4-12 record after their 14-7 league win over East Union (Afton, IA).

The Wolverines (3-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Southeast Warren (Liberty Center, IA). The Warhawks enter the Pride of Iowa challenge with a 14-3 record.
