In Monday's league match, the visiting Stanton Vikings softball team scored a nice 14-0 win over the Sidney Cowboys.

The Vikings (9-13) will now prepare for their match against Bedford (Bedford, IA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league match with a 10-8 record. In their last match, Bedford was routed by Fremont-Mills (Tabor, IA), 5-4, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Cowboys battle the St. Albert Falcons (Council Bluffs, IA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, July 1. Sidney will attempt to better on its 3-13 season record. The Falcons come into the match with a 6-19 record after their 9-0 league loss to Creston (Creston, IA).
