    The High Point Central Bison baseball team (High Point, NC), was overwhelmed 21-1 in Friday's league outing with the visiting Northwest Guilford Vikings (Greensboro, NC)

    The Vikings now hold a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they host Ragsdale for a Metro 4A outing on Tuesday, June 8. Northwest Guilford will face a Tigers team coming off a 4-3 league win over Grimsley (Greensboro, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 9-3.

    Next, the Bison face the Page Pirates (Greensboro, NC) in a Metro 4A outing, on Wednesday, June 9. High Point Central will attempt to advance on its 1-11 season record. The Pirates enter the outing with a 2-10 record after their 14-4 league loss to Grimsley (Greensboro, NC).
