North Carolina High School Baseball - Porter Ridge can't hold off Myers Park

In Friday's league game, the host Myers Park Mustangs baseball team scored a tight 5-4 victory over the Porter Ridge Pirates.
The Mustangs (10-2) will now prepare for their game against Independence (Charlotte, NC). The Patriots go into the Southwestern 4A game with a 7-5 record. In their last game, Independence tipped Rocky River (Mint Hill, NC), 13-1, in a league game.
The Pirates (10-2) will now prepare for their game against Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC). The Ragin' Bulls go into the Southwestern 4A game with a 9-3 record. In their last game, Hickory Ridge tipped East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC), 11-3, in a league game.
