The Sheldon Orabs nipped the visiting Hinton Blackhawks softball squad by a final score of 4-3 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Orabs (6-1) will now prepare for their battle against Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley (Rock Valley, IA). The NIGHTHAWKS go into the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley held off George-Little Rock (George, IA), 20-0, in a non-league battle.
The Blackhawks now possess a 6-8 record. They play next when they host Sheldon for a non-league battle on Saturday, June 4. Hinton will meet a Orabs squad coming off a 4-2 non-league win over South O'Brien (Paullina, IA). The Orabs record now stands at 5-1.
