The Nevada Cubs softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting New London Tigers to 5 in the Cubs non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Nevada moves its record to 6-0 on the year. The Cubs travel to Saydel (Des Moines, IA) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league game on Monday, June 6. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 3-0. Saydel won 14-0 in their recent non-league game against South Hamilton (Jewell, IA)

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Fairfield Trojans (Fairfield, IA) in a non-league game, on Friday, June 10. New London will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record.
