New Kent Trojans (New Kent, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Tabb Tigers (Yorktown, VA), 6-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 22-1 record. They take the field next when they host William Monroe for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, June 7. New Kent will battle a Dragons squad coming off a 12-11 non-league loss to Brentsville District (Nokesville, VA). The Dragons record now stands at 16-6.
