The Jefferson Yellowjackets softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Sioux City West Wolverines to 0 in the Yellowjackets league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Jefferson improves its record to 8-5 on the year. The Yellowjackets host Sioux City East (Sioux City, IA) to clash with the Black Raiders in a Missouri River game on Wednesday, June 5. The Black Raiders come into the game with a record of 2-2.

In their next game, the Wolverines clash with the Lincoln Lynx (Council Bluffs, IA) in a Missouri River game, on Thursday, June 6. Sioux City West will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Lynx come into the game with a 1-14 record after their 5-0 league loss to Le Mars (Le Mars, IA).
