Kuemper Knights (Carroll, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting St. Albert Falcons (Council Bluffs, IA), 6-5 in a league challenge.

The Knights now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host St. Albert for a Hawkeye 10 challenge on Tuesday, June 4. Kuemper will battle a Falcons squad coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Clarinda (Clarinda, IA). The Falcons record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, St. Albert falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Kuemper (Carroll, IA) to battle the Knights in a Hawkeye 10 challenge on Tuesday, June 4.
