The Coon Rapids-Bayard Crusaders baseball team scored 4 runs and held the host Ogden Bulldogs to 2 in the Crusaders non-league win on Wednesday.
The Crusaders now own a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Boyer Valley for a Rolling Valley test on Friday, June 6. Coon Rapids-Bayard will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 8-2 league win over Exira-EHK (Elk Horn, IA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-2.
With the defeat, Ogden drops to 3-7 on the year. The Bulldogs host Pleasantville (Pleasantville, IA) to play the Trojans in a West Central test on Thursday, June 5. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 5-0.
