The Baxter softball team scored 10 runs and held the host Colo-NESCO Royals to 7 in the league win on Wednesday.

The now sport a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lynnville-Sully for a non-league battle on Thursday, June 5. Baxter will confront a Hawks team coming off a 4-3 league win over Iowa Valley (Marengo, IA). The Hawks record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Colo-NESCO moves to 2-4 on the season. The Royals host Janesville (Janesville, IA) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Friday, June 6. The Wildcats come into the battle with a record of 3-4. Janesville lost 9-1 in their recent league battle against Don Bosco (Gilbertville, IA)
