The Sioux Center Warriors softball team scored 7 runs and held the host Central Lyon Lions to 1 in the Warriors league win on Wednesday.

The Warriors now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Lyon for a Siouxland battle on Thursday, June 5. Sioux Center will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 7-4 non-league win over Spirit Lake (Spirit Lake, IA). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-0.

With the loss, Central Lyon moves to 2-5 on the season. The Lions travel to Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union (Marcus, IA) to confront the Royals in a non-league battle on Thursday, June 5. The Royals come into the battle with a record of 4-0. Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union won 6-2 in their recent non-league battle against Cherokee Washington (Cherokee, IA)
