With the triumph, Davis County upgrades its record to 2-4 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Chariton (Chariton, IA) to play the Chargers in a South Central game on Friday, June 6. The Chargers enter the game with a record of 4-0. Chariton won 10-0 in their recent league game against Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont (Eddyville, IA)

The Indians now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Mount Ayr for a non-league game on Thursday, June 5. Clarke will play a Raiders squad coming off a 10-6 non-league win over Lamoni (Lamoni, IA). The Raiders record now stands at 2-2.
