The Defenders (4-4) will now prepare for their match against Edgewood-Colesburg (Edgewood, IA). The Vikings go into the non-league match with a 10-2 record. In their last match, Edgewood-Colesburg tipped Sumner-Fredericksburg (Sumner, IA), 3-2, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the River Kings battle the Muscatine Muskies (Muscatine, IA) in a Mississippi Athletic match, on Thursday, June 5. Clinton will attempt to better on its 1-9 season record. The Muskies go into the match with a 5-1 record after their 5-2 league win over Central DeWitt (DeWitt, IA).
