North Carolina High School Baseball - Manteo gets by John A. Holmes

Manteo Redskins (Manteo, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting John A. Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC), 10-8 in a league test.

With the win, Manteo upgrades its record to 3-9 on the season. The Redskins host Ocracoke (Ocracoke, NC) to battle the Dolphins in a non-league test on Wednesday, June 9. The Dolphins come into the test with a record of 7-4. Ocracoke won 11-1 in their recent league battle against Columbia (Columbia, NC)

The Aces now sport a 11-1 record. They take the field next when they host Perquimans for a Albemarle 1A battle on Tuesday, June 8. John A. Holmes will play a Pirates squad coming off a 12-0 league win over Camden County (Camden, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 10-2.
