The Crestwood Cadets baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the host Charles City Comets to 3 in the Cadets league victory on Wednesday.

The Cadets (1-10) will now prepare for their match against Waukon (Waukon, IA). The Indians go into the non-league match with a 3-9 record. In their last match, Waukon edged Edgewood-Colesburg (Edgewood, IA), 14-4, in a non-league match.

The Comets (2-9) will now prepare for their match against Oelwein (Oelwein, IA). The Huskies go into the non-league match with a 3-9 record. In their last match, Oelwein by Wapsie Valley (Fairbank, IA), 20-1, in a league match.
