The Clippers (7-3) will now prepare for their bout against North Polk (Alleman, IA). The Comets go into the non-league bout with a 14-2 record. In their last bout, North Polk held off Xavier (Cedar Rapids, IA), 6-5, in a non-league bout.

The Tigers now possess a 4-8 record. They play next when they travel to Van Buren County for a non-league bout on Friday, June 7. Grinnell will confront a Warriors squad coming off a 12-5 league loss to Central Lee (Donnellson, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 3-3.
