Sioux Central Rebels (Sioux Rapids, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Northwest Webster Cougars (Manson, IA), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Rebels now own a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they host Estherville Lincoln Central for a non-league challenge on Thursday, June 6. Sioux Central will face a Midgets squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Newell-Fonda (Newell, IA). The Midgets record now stands at 13-2.

With the loss, Northwest Webster falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Cougars host Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire (Ruthven, IA) to face the Titans in a non-league challenge on Friday, June 7. The Titans enter the challenge with a record of 3-5. Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire lost 12-1 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Edmond (Fort Dodge, IA)
